Teaching people about music is one of the most satisfying things I have ever been involved with. My teaching philosophy is to fit the method books to the student, rather than the student to the books. I have found that this creates the best learning environment, and allows for multiple learning styles.

I will teach any interested learner age 6 through adult, and am currently teaching Monday through Thursday. However, if those days do not work, please contact me and I will be happy to work something out with you. Lessons are usually 30 minutes for beginners, 45 minutes for intermediate, and 60 minutes for late intermediate through advanced, once a week, although if you desire a different time arrangement I am happy to discuss it.

All lessons are given in my home studio, where I have a grand piano for optimum sound and performance. There is a sitting area where parents are welcome to listen in to and watch the lesson. Drop-offs are also accepted. I am located in Southern Monument, 5 minutes north of the Baptist Road exit (I-25’s Exit 158).
